In Life They Were Not Divided: “

The Wiggidy has added a photo to the pool:

In Life They Were Not Divided

This is the bronze statue in front of the Nauvoo Temple titled ‘Calm as a Summers Morning.’ It depicts Joseph and Hyrum Smith the day that they left Nauvoo for the final trip to Carthage jail where they were martyred.

A quote form John Taylor about Joseph Smith, ‘He lived great, and he died great in the eyes of God and his people; and like most of the Lord’s anointed in ancient times, has sealed his mission and his works with his own blood; and so has his brother Hyrum. In life they were not divided, and in death they were not separated!’

By the way I did Zero post processing to this, it’s straight out of the camera.
