So yesterday I was walking around Hood River, Oregon, waiting for a car repair. As I was walking down the street, a guy in an old car pulled over, jumped out of his car and asked if I liked to take photos as he pointed to my camera. I thought I was about to be mugged (you have probably heard what a crime capitol Hood River is
. Anyway, when I said yes he asked if I minded taking photos from the Washington side of the river. I told him I tried to keep my prejudices under control, especially since I live in Washington. He then told me about a beautiful spot above White Salmon, WA. where I could get a great view of the Hood River Valley and Mount Hood. Then he drove on his way. I’d like to thank this mysterious stranger for pointing me in the direction where I witnessed a beautiful sunrise this morning. It is nice when people are nice.
