Temples have always been associated with trees and gardens. This represents their power to help us to undo the fall and return to the Garden of Eden while we still live within the winter and night of this world.
I attempted to represent this concept by photographing the temple through the branches of the trees planted around the grounds, in the winter, but with visible buds on the branches indicating the promise of a coming spring. Moroni in the background is blowing a trumpet to welcome the coming of Christ, and His Millennial reign which also represents a return to the Garden of Eden.
